Social and emotional learning (SEL) is an integral part of human development. SEL is the process that helps people develop healthy identities, manage emotions, feel empathy for others, maintain supportive relationships with friends or family members as well as make responsible decisions.

Self Awareness

Emotions are part of what makes us human. Our emotions give us information about how we and others are doing and can affect our thoughts and behavior. However, being able to recognize, label and regulate (manage) our reactions to our emotions is not something all of us are skilled at.
